1. College campuses
Colleges campus is an excellent parkour training grounds for various reasons. Firstly, the diverse space and architecture are challenging enough to allow an interesting experimentation. At most campuses, there are rails, ramps, stairs and elevation changes to allow you practice all day. Security will probably be fairly loose unless you practice too disruptive exercises. Security will probably assume you’re another eccentric student and keep an eye shut. The college campus also offers a lot safer practice ground than the downtown area of a large metropolitan area.
Playgrounds are basically perfect places for parkour, except the fact that. they’re equipped with child-sized facilities. Although with a little creativity, you can easily turn them into a proper adult-sized training facility with several advantages include being a public space having unique set of equipment that is ideal for climbing and jumping. Furthermore, there are soft mulch and rubber underfoot, so if you fall down on them, it’s much safer. The biggest disadvantage is obviously children. You don’t want to mess up with kids or their parents, so avoid practicing during the recess whenever possible.
The beauty of beaches lies in their mercy. Sand is a reasonable surface to land although you might have a hard time finding climbable structures. However, there are a large space for flips and tricks. Don’t forget to put on the sunscreen. You may focus more on the training so that you leave with all your bones intact, but sunburn isn’t fun either.
For a more controlled, artificial environment, a gym is the place you’re looking for. It has all the mats, trampolines and balance beams which is the safest and most effective place to advance your skills. If you slip up, you won’t be hurt too badly, as gym employees will be able to get quick medical attention. For professional, we actually recommend this optio above all others because of the level of difficulty the equipment might offer. Practice until you’ve mastered all the skills before you take it to the streets.
